About Kahvitupa Laurentius

The calming ambiance at Kahvitupa Laurentius immediately invites a slow, reflective pause from the pace of daily life. Soft lighting and modest decor complement the gentle murmur of casual conversations, crafting an atmosphere well-suited for a quiet coffee break or a brief meet-up. Observing various diners, it becomes apparent that the charm also lies in the blend of familiar Finnish café comfort with nuanced international touches. The presence of local pastries alongside robust coffee blends encourages exploration beyond the expected, though the limited seating may introduce moments of mild congestion during peak hours.

Examining the Kahvitupa Laurentius menu reveals a straightforward yet thoughtfully curated selection that balances tradition and variety. Signature blends and single-origin brews showcase a dedication to coffee craftsmanship, while accompanying treats—from dense rye pastries to lighter almond cakes—offer pleasant contrasts in texture and flavor. Reviews from regular patrons often highlight the consistency of taste, though some mention that options could expand to better accommodate those seeking vegan or gluten-free alternatives. Photographs of the offerings reflect a consistent aesthetic: rustic, homey presentations that emphasize authenticity over ornate plating.

In assessing Kahvitupa Laurentius as a restaurant experience, the attentive yet unobtrusive presence of staff adds a layer of comfort without overwhelming the quiet charm. The pace of service aligns well with visitors seeking to linger, yet moments of busy interludes show how the small team manages crowds with professional ease. While the location along Kirkkotie 47 in Vantaa might not draw spontaneous foot traffic, the steady flow of community members and visitors searching for reliable coffee moments contributes to its steady reputation. The overall balance between atmosphere, menu, and service forms a cohesive experience, one that resonates in many of the Kahvitupa Laurentius reviews shared within local circles.

Nice cozy place with genuine Italian pizza and ice cream. I’m assuming the vendor or the pizzas is Italian and uses very high quality flour and other ingredients for his pizzas. The other section has a lovely cozy cafe and lunch eatery with a vast option of foods. I ordered the creamy bacon pasta and the pork steak with creamed potatoes. Both were delicious. With the lunch deal you get a decent salad, bread and coffee too. Cakes and pastries also looked nice. Atmosphere is a very cozy traditional old Finnish farm style house. Deffo worth the visit if you’re in the area. Service is also friendly and efficient. Places look tidy and people/customers including babies were calm.

I am Italian and i recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to have a very good pizza (they have a proper pizza oven outside!) or some typical food from Romagna, an Italian region where the owners of the restaurant are from. I also recommend the lasagna and i will be back in the future to try even more dishes. Everything is homemade, even desserts and gelato. Honest prices, excellent service. Highly recommended! Lovely Italian cuisine served by wonderful Italian speaking staff who remember their regular customers by name. Meals include delicious bread baked in fire-oven, giving it a crispy crust, and a tasty fresh tomat-lettuce salad.

Amazing food! I’ve only been to Milan in Italy, and I didn’t love the food there—I didn’t get a great impression of Italian cuisine. But this establishment has the best Italian food I’ve ever tried. The bakery and ice cream are also amazing! It’s nice to visit a place where they truly know what they’re doing. Always a great experience—sometimes even with live music in the yard!

The place is quite nice. The food is awesome, and the service was good, very nice personnel. I’ve been twice, first time for pizza, it was very good and fairly priced 15-20 euro. Second time I went for brunch. I found it quite overpriced if compared to high quality brunch places which can be much cheaper. And also, I should mention that the facilities seem to be insufficient as well as the staff. As a result the place is quite crowded with little room to walk, empty water dispensers, no glasses, etc. you get long queues (20+ mins) to order and also to access the toilet. Tables outdoors are not very comfortable and they definitely could use some umbrellas or shades cause if it’s sunny, sitting out there is unbearable after a short time. Lots of room for improvement, especially given that price range.

The pizza was DELICIOUS. Id say the best Ive eaten in Finland. Tiramisu was tasty but not amazing. Same with the gelato - pistachio was very good but melon was OK. Staff is verrry friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

This place has the Finnish countryside’s charm combined with the Italian hospitality and kindness. The food is excellent and the pizza and gelato got high praises even from an Italian foodie. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone as a nice day trip. Thank you for taking care of us
